Pamela e Accessories council member help a soiree this week at the ink 48 a kimpton Hotel on 11th Avenue. A one of a kind hotel dedicate to caring for the one and truly you. It is has 203 elegantly appointed rooms and 19 loft suites, boasts a wonderful spa and an 80 seater restaurant. Perfect place for a weekend in New York. Ford Motor company picked everyone up in their wonderful fleet from around New York, just as well as it was raining cats and dogs outside. A great way to arrive at a party.

Ford are committed to being sustainable and are using Soy-based polyurethane foams used for seat cushions, seat backs and headliners. Wheat straw and other plant fiber-reinforced plastic used for vehicle storage bins and interior door panels. Engineering wood technology (recycled and renewable) used for interior trim. Sugars made from corn, beet and cane under consideration for biodegradable plastic parts.. How cool is that?

Anyway to the event, one of the highlights was an Ultra Book by Intel which is uber thin and has a screen of only 13 inches, cutting the bezel thickness by a third and giving you the perfect slice of life. This is fantastic as it weighs next to nothing which is great to carry around New York to meetings.

One thing I hate when I am traveling is not being able to take my huge bottles of perfume with me, I adore perfume and not only are they bulky and heavy but who wants to wear the same one everyday? so here is the perfect answer to that the Travalo refillable atomizer, requires no skill or messy screw tops. It has a simple repeat pump action to it and comes in a 3oz size which allows you to take onboard any aircraft. What is most important it allows you to take all your favorite perfumes with you where ever you go. I for one am off to buy more!

Sometimes when we have no idea what to give someone for a holiday gift I wonder is giving a gift card that boring and unthoughtful? well I have over the last few years come to actually ask for a gift card from my family members because that way there is no having to find a way to ask for the receipt to take back an unwanted gift, wrong size or color. I just moved house and am busy trying to furnish my bedroom and style my bathrooms so when TJMaxx and Marshalls gave us a gift card I was clapping my hands together. So today I will be off to find my local TJMaxx to purchase some new towels, but for everyone else remember you can get designer wear with upto 60% discount.

So excuse me because I have to go shopping now, thank  you to Pamela Pekerman for giving us food for thought for the holiday season..
