Founded in 1998 by Andy Laats and Chad DiNenna after DiNenna’s unsuccessful attempt to find a watch that reflected his personal style, Nixon has grown into a watch and accessories company that spreads itself across multiple genres, ranging from laid back, action sports enthusiasts to high end retailers and specialty boutiques such as Barney’s New York, Fred Segel, 10 Corso Como, and Henri Bendel. Based out of Encinitas, California, what started as specifically a watch brand has now crossed over into leather goods, apparel, headphones and speakers, and tech cases and covers, proving to be a multifaceted company. Nixon currently operates in over 70 countries world wide, including stand-alone stores in Berkeley, California, Bondi and Melbourne, Australia, and Kuta, Bali.
